Final Project
Now that we're wrapping up the last couple weeks of this class, tell me which option you chose for the final project. Also, tell me how much you've already accomplished. If you haven't started working on the project yet, explain to me your plan for finishing it by the 18th. One more thing...what are you doing to ensure an A on the project? I look forward to seeing all of the projects on the 18th!

Historical and Cultural Influences on Film
Films often highlight events from history. They also tend to reflect specific cultures. We just finished watching and discussing a few clips from Forrest Gump. Please describe at least two historical events and two cultural reflections from the movie that are true to America. (Don't forget: write at least three complete sentences and check your spelling, punctuation, and grammar.)

About Me
- MrsSchmidt
- I wouldn't call myself an expert at film history, but I've always had an interest in it. Years ago, I took my first film analysis class and it changed the way I thought about movies when I watched them. It opened my mind and broadened my perspective in a way that made movie watching so much more enjoyable. Now when I watch movies I'm able to look beyond the surface story and really dig into the heart of the film maker's message. I notice things like color and camera angles and it makes me feel like I know more about the movie than the average Joe. The whole movie experience has changed for me and I hope that this class opens the same doors for you as well.
